The Season – the Guardian’s 76 page colour guide to the forthcoming football season – is to have its second run this year following on from the reported success of last year’s publication.
Billed as an indispensable guide to the English Premiership, The Season will be free with the Guardian on Monday 10 August, and will feature football’s ‘star players’ and ‘bad boys’ as well as all other conceivably relevant information.
In addition to this, the Guardian is also planning to launch Football Unlimited (www.footballunlimited.co.uk) shortly, which is an extension of the football.guardian website, and the Football Unlimited Network (FUN), a coalition of independent supporter’s websites that is central to the official site. The intention of FUN is to develop an internet community of fans, and a platform for news and information, says the Guardian.
