The Independent is revamping its weekend editions and will be revealing them this Saturday and Sunday, a spokesperson confirmed today. Comparing the alterations to those made to The Guardian earlier this year (see Newsline) details are being kept under lock and key, in an attempt to maximise the impact of the unveiling this weekend.
However, speculation suggests that the Saturday listings magazine The Eye is being replaced by an A4 magazine named Information. The Independent on Sunday is expected to feature changes to its arts, sports and business pages.
