Meanwhile, BBC Two’s Hereos picked up more than 2 million viewers with a 5.9% audience share during the 9pm to 10pm peak slot.
At the same time, Channel 4’s fly-on-the-wall documentary The Family attracted over 1.5 million viewers, while Channel five’s Paul Merton in India fell just below with around 1.4 million average viewers.
However, the peak viewing figures for whole the evening were seen by ITV1’s Coronation Street, which banked more than 9.2 million average viewers between 7.30pm and 8pm.
