The Telegraph appoints Chris Forrester as CRO

The Telegraph has today announced the appointment of Chris Forrester to the newly created role of chief revenue officer, reporting into CEO, Nick Hugh.

Forrester, who was most recently Spotify UK manager, will lead the company’s advertising revenue teams including display ad sales, client strategy and development, and Spark, The Telegraph’s branded content and data division.

He will also have responsibility for all commerce revenues, excluding that generated by Telegraph Travel and Telegraph Financial Services.

“We are delighted to welcome Chris to The Telegraph in the role of CRO,” said Hugh. “His extensive experience and forward thinking attitude make him well positioned to lead our commercial efforts into the future.”

Forrester has more than 20 years’ experience, including four years at out-of-home specialist Primesight, where he first held the position of commercial director before becoming managing director ahead of his stint at Spotify.
