The X Factor topped the weekend viewing figures once again, pulling in more than 10.7 million peak viewers to ITV1 on Saturday evening.
An average of almost 10.2 million average viewers tuned in to see the remaining acts sing Mariah Carey hits, securing ITV1 with a massive 42.6% audience share, while a further 9.2 million peak viewers watched Laura White being voted off in the results show at 9.35pm.
ITV1 stole the show on Saturday night, holding the peak audience between 7pm and 10pm with The X Factor and All Star Family Fortunes.
However, BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing also attracted high numbers on Saturday, reaching more than 10.6 million peak viewers in the last part of the programme between 7pm and 7.20pm.
BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing results also held the peak audience during Sunday evening, banking an average of over 8.7 million viewers and a 30.1% audience share between 8.15pm and 9pm.
The BBC’s long-running Antiques Roadshow pulled in more than 9.4 million peak viewers and Stephen Fry in America picked up over 6.7 million peak viewers either side of Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday evening.
