Afternoon freesheet thelondonpaper has relaunched its website with a fresh look designed to be more engaging to users.
The new-look site, designed by agency Nomensa, features more advertising opportunities and allows readers to include their interactions with the paper on their Facebook page.
Serena Kutchinsky, former managing editor of Time Out has been hired as editor of its Going Out section.
Distribution figures for March 2009 show that thelondonpaper was static year on year, at almost 600,000 copies.
Rival afternoon freesheet the London Lite, meanwhile, saw its total rise 1.2% to around 400,500 copies (see ABC London Newspaper Focus: Mar 2009).
