thelondonpaper Widens Gap On Freesheet Rival
thelondonpaper has once again nudged ahead of its fellow freesheet, the London Lite, with the title recording a circulation increase of more than 13% month on month.
The News International paper now boasts an ABC of a little under 495,000, compared to last month’s figure of just over 436,000. The title’s rival has actually seen a slight drop month on month, with its circulation now standing at 400,780.
The Evening Standard‘s circulation also slipped, down nearly 4% month on month. The paid-for title now records an ABC of around 266,000, a loss of more than 10,500 copies from the previous month (see thelondonpaper Pulls Away From London Lite).
Business freesheet,City AM, has bolstered its circulation total by 15% month on month. The paper’s total now rests at just over 95,000 copies.
Morning freebie, Metro, lost more than 5,000 issues from its circulation month on month. The title now commands a circulation of almost 543,000.
