Sunday Telegraph Launches Magazine This Sunday

The Sunday Telegraph has released further details of its new magazine. The new magazine launches this Sunday and will consist of 48 pages.

Editorially, the new glossy magazine will be in a review format, and contain items around British subjects, with the cooking and gardening sections of the newspaper now within the magazine. There will be 3 or 4 main features, games and a diary column written by the editor.

Observer Launches 2 Week Supplement

The Observer is to launch a two week supplement into American culture called alt.culture.usa. According to a spokeswoman for the Observer the supplement will cover all aspects of Popular American Culture. Subjects range from media, television, Nike, Nirvana to Prozac and will give an insight into cultural icons. The supplement precedes the launch of a book into American Culture from which the supplement has been adapted.

alt.culture.usa will consist of 40 pages. Information will take a listed form and be reported in an “entertaining way”.
