The Time Exchange has released its rate card for 1994; it combines Granada Scottish Television, Grampian and Border for the first time under one sales house.
Spot rates for Granada have increased to £36,000 for top rate 30″ from £30,000. Border Television rates have more than doubled for the top rate, from £1,500 to £3,600 for a 30″ spot.
Scottish and Grampian however have both reduced rates. Scottish has reduced the 30″ top rate from £20,000 to £18,000. Grampian has reduced the 30″ top rate from £8,000 to £7,200. Scottish and Grampian previously had eight rate categories; these have now been standardised to ten.
There is a further region available, North by North West, which is the macro region of Granada and Border combined.
CHANNEL 4
The 1994 Channel 4 rate card remains the same as 1993.
