Time Inc. UK appoints new marketing director, advertising

Time Inc. UK has appointed Lisa Batty as its new marketing director, advertising, to lead the development and implementation of all marketing and communication initiatives across the company’s advertising department.

The newly-created role is the latest appointment in Time Inc. UK Advertising’s recent restructure, and will see Batty report to the company’s director of insight, Amanda Wigginton.

Batty first joined Time Inc. UK as head of business development within its weeklies portfolio, and for the past seven years has headed up the company’s strategic business development.

Time Inc. currently publishes more than 60 titles including NME, TV Times and InStyle.

“Lisa is a highly experienced marketer with over 15 years’ experience and with a strong background in media she has a proven track record of developing and delivering innovative successful initiatives,” said Wigginton.

“Her understanding of Time Inc. UK’s business and our market leading brands makes her the perfect candidate to promote and market Time Inc. UK’s credentials and drive advertising revenues.”

Batty added: “I am incredibly excited to take up this new role; it is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time and have tons of ideas up my sleeve.

“Time Inc. UK has some of the most iconic and cutting edge brands in the country and we have a huge team of talented people creating some fantastic work, which I look forward to sharing with the wider industry in new and innovative ways.”
