Time Inc. UK to rebrand as TI Media

As of June 11 Time Inc. UK will be no more, as the company today announced that it will be rebranding to TI Media.

The news follows the company’s acquisition earlier this year by private equity firm Epris LLP, which purchased it from Meredith Corporation for an undisclosed sum.

Time Inc. UK has over 40 brands with a reach of around 16.5 million across print and digital in the UK, with magazine titles including TV Times, Woman’s Weekly and Ideal Home under its belt.

“We are proud of all we have achieved as Time Inc. UK over the last four years and, before that, as IPC Media over many years,” said Marcus Rich, CEO, Time Inc. UK.

“While we wanted our new name to speak to that successful past – with the T of Time Inc. and the I of IPC – we also wanted it to be adaptable to suit the ways we will evolve and look to extend that success under our new ownership.”

Sir Bernard Gray, executive chairman, added: “As a company, TI Media is proud of its past and confident of the future. Our new name opens the next chapter of our story with familiarity and new energy.”

The company’s new logo is also to be unveiled June 11, as Time Inc. UK changes its legal name to TI Media Limited the same day.
