100,000 people are now paying to read The Times and The Sunday Times online – a year after News Corporation decided to put the newspapers behind a £2 a week paywall.
The titles have generated around 21,000 readers over the last four months, which follows 50,000 in the first four months to the end of October and 29,000 in the period leading up to the end of February.
Revenues from 100,000 online subscribers amounts to around £10.4 million.
