Following an increase in its September ABC figure (see Features), the Times will be continuing its Monday promotional effort. The Monday edition has been selling for 10p since June *Newspaper Price War Hots Up and an advertisement in today’s edition states that there will be “An unbelievable offer starting in The Times on Monday, October 28″, though the paper remains absolutely tight-lipped as to what this will be.
The Express meanwhile refused to comment on circulation figures following its revamp earlier this month *New Sections For Express And Mail, indicating that the new look, initially at any rate, has not improved sales.
