The latest national newspaper ABC circulation figures show the Times with a circulation of 599,358. This is a massive increase 66.6% year on year, with circulation increasing by 245,000 since last September when the cover price was reduced to 30p. The Times’ share of the quality daily market has increased from 15% a year ago to 23%
The Sun increased circulation by 16% year on year on its monthly figure, to well over the 4 million mark, 4,173,699.
The Independent continues to suffer, losing 23% year on year on its monthly figures, down to 257,812, the lowest circulation of any national newspaper.
