Tizer To Sponsor Chart Show
ITV Sponsorship has announced that Tizer is to sponsor the next series of the Chart Show using an interactive creative treatment in a deal worth £500,000.
The credits will use Tizer’s new tag line “Refresh your Head” and will feature ‘Ed’, the red-headed character synonymous with the campaign. The sponsorship will run simultaneously with a summer on-pack promotion and consumers will be invited to nominate a friend to be ‘refreshed’ and have their head featured in the Chart Show’s credits.
Sally Blackburn, commercial manager at Laser on behalf of the ITV Sponsorship Committee, commented: “Tizer is the third non-competing brand to sponsor the Show and it’s vibrant image, young brand values and highly creative treatment will mean that the partnership will serve to heighten the brand’s awareness in this tough market.”
Andrew Napier, a managing partner at Media Solutions, negotiated the Tizer deal with Laser on behalf of Barr Soft Drinks. The sponsorship will start on Saturday 3rd May and is set to run until the end of the year.
