TMD Carat Creates Press Unit

TMD Carat has set up a dedicated press unit to be responsible for all the agency’s press planning and buying.

The unit will be headed by TMDC board director Nigel Breckon and have a team of 39 to handle the £200m press expenditure. Mark Craze, TMDC’s managing director, said: “We feel that with the increasing number of creative opportunities available in the medium a totally focused unit will be best placed to identify new initiatives for our clients.”

At the same time the agency will create some additional client planning teams to focus more on the strategic needs of its clients.
