TMD Carat Manchester Success Triggers Staff Promotions
Following what the company describes as ‘a period of unprecedented growth’, TMD Carat Manchester has announced a series of internal promotions and a major recruitment drive.
Eliot Lowe has joined the board of directors; Matthew Hatton is appointed as associate director; Tracey Carr is promoted to group head and Laura Brotheridge and Rossana Murphy become media executives.
Acting managing director, Jim Brickhill says: “The size of our recent growth enables us to reward those individuals who have really contributed to our success.”
TMD is also recruiting eight new members of staff: three have been taken on, three have offers and interviews are being held for the final two places. Natalie Carroll has joined the Broadcast Department from Universal McCann as a media executive and Robin Bell joins from JWT Manchester along with Keith Singleton at the end of the month.
The company achieved record billings of £60 million for 1997 (up 12% on 1996), and has acquired £3.5 million of new business so far this year. The details of these five new clients will be announced shortly.
