TNS Bolsters Team Ready for BARB

TNS Following TNS clinching the BARB data contract at the end of the year, it has today bolstered its team with two new appointments.

Chris Balch will become managing director of the BARB service team within TNS Media Research. Previously, he has held the role of director of operations at TNS Worldpanel UK for the last 11 years.

Graeme Griffiths has been promoted to services director for TNS Custom Media, and will be charged with overseeing recruitment to the new BARB panel in the UK.

Currently a managing consultant, Griffiths joined the company in 2000 as a senior researcher.

Both positions will report into the TNS BARB management board and will be aiming to create a reporting panel by April 2009.

TNS won the recruitment and maintenance of the 5,100 strong BARB panel in December 2007 from AGB Nielsen (see BARB Awards Four Six-Year Research Contracts).
