Weekly titles showed the most steady performance year on year in the latest regional newspapers circulation figures released by the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) this week. The sector is led by Cornwall’s West Briton Series which had a weekly circulation of 50,616 copies for the July-December 1999 period; this is virtually no change on the same period a year earlier.
The weekly regionals sector as a whole, which produces around 400 audited titles, held steady year on year with a total circulation just over 37 million copies.
