Top Ten Brands – June
The June Register Meal Top Ten Brands have been released. The highest spending company in the television category in June was Tesco Store with total expenditure being £4,306,000; the second highest expenditure came from NatWest Bank with £3,022,000. For the same period in May, spend in the television sector was lower with the top company being Rover 400 Series with £2,718,000.
The top spending companies in the radio category were McDonalds with £371,000 and Kleenex Tissues Range with £277,000 total advertising spend. Last month’s top spending company in the Radio category was the Renault Clio Range with £401,000.
The National Press also saw an increase in advertising spend in June. Curry’s Store was the highest spending company in the National Press with an expenditure of £2,916,000. BT Call Stimulation spent £1,892,000 – the second largest spend in the National Press for June. The biggest spending company for May was B&Q with £1,729,000. Advertising in Consumer Magazines was slightly up in June with Bernard Matthews Cooked Meats Range the highest spender with £462,000 and Franklin Mint Plates spending £317,000. The top spender for the Consumer Magazine category in May was Franklin Mint Plates with £449,000.
Regional Press was also up, with Halifax Property Services – £1,245,000 and Black Horse Estate Agent – £602,000, being the highest spenders for June. The highest spending company in May for Regional Press was again Halifax Property Services with £1,035,000.
The top expenditure in the Cinema Sector was attained by Smirnoff Vodka with £304,000 – Haagan Dazs Ice Cream spent £250.000. The top spending company in May was the Boots 17 Range with £322,000. Top Spending Brands – June 1995
