Top Ten Brands – October
The highest spending brands for October, according to Register Meal’s latest data, show Peugeot was the biggest spender, with £2.716m on television for its Peugeot 306. The Vauxhall Vectra was the second biggest spender on TV for October, with £2.375m. Neither of these brands were in the top ten for September.
Peugeot also spent more on Channel 4 than any other brand in October £738,000. Commercial Union Assurance, and Sun Alliance bothe spent over £100,000 in October on the satellite channels.
DHL Worldwide Express was the biggest spending brand in October on the radio, at £374,000. McDonalds and Carphone Warehouse are in second and third positions respectively, McDonalds repeating its September placing.
Currys, as was the case in September, was the biggest spender in the national pres, at £2.39m. This month all top ten brands spent over £1m on national press. C&A Stores were the top spender in Consumer magazines, at £448,000.
Halifax Property Services was again the biggest spender in the Regional Press, at £1.18m more than twice the spend of the second highest spender, Vauxhall Dealer Support.
BT Payphones beat Bacardi, Lucozade and Levi’s 501s to the top spending cinema slot in October, and Channel 4 beat Honda Civic 5 Door, Vauxhall Vectra and Bacardi Rum in terms of spend on Outdoor in October.
