In brief

“Slow news” publisher Tortoise Media has announced an exclusive multi-year first look deal with Sky Studios to adapt its original podcasts to high-end series and features.

Tortoise Media plans to combine its investigative long-form journalism podcasts, like The Slow Newscast, with Sky Studio’s filmmaking to create Sky Originals scripted and documentary series and features for customers in the UK, Italy, Germany and beyond.
