Tory PR Man Joins Granada

Granada have appointed one of the Conservative party’s senior press spokesman as head of its communications unit.

Ed Young, who worked on William Hague’s press team in the recent election, takes on responsibility for corporate media relations and internal communications. He will oversee a team of eight and will work closely with Granada’s chairman Charles Allan.

Young replaces Tim Hollingsworth who left the company at the beginning of June.
