London Transport has confirmed that the LDI Consortium, led by the American Transportation Displays Incorporated, and Hambro Group Investments, is their preferred bidder.
The bid now has to be assessed, and the final decision is expected before the end of August. Although the management/employee buyout is the other short-listed bidder, it is now unlikely to be successful. London Transport said that the referral of More O’Ferrall’s bid to the MMC was not a relevant factor in their decision.
The Management and Employee Buy-Out team has issued a statement expressing disappointment at not being the preferred bidder.
