BBC One’s Mistresses, airing from 9pm to 10pm, secured an audience of just over 4 million, and a share of 17%.

It achieved the top ratings for the second half of the programmes, from 9.30pm to 10pm.

ITV’s coverage of the UEFA Europa League Live, showing from 7.30pm to 10pm, managed to achieve the highest ratings from 9pm to 9.30pm.

On average, it attracted an audience of 3.6 million, and a share of 15.9%.

Elsewhere, BBC Two’s Digging for Britain secured 2.6 million viewers and a 10.9% share, while Channel 4’s Undercover Boss attracted 2.2 million viewers and a 9.5% share.

Five’s The Hotel Inspector managed an audience of 1.9 million, and a share of 5.1%.

ITV1’s Emmerdale won its alot, airing from 7pm to 7.30pm with 5.9 million viewers and a 31.4% share.

BBC One’s Eastenders followed, from 7.30pm to 8pm, winning its slot with 7.7 million viewers and a 37.6% share.

BBC One dominated throughout the morning, winning most of the slots, with ITV1 and BBC Two taking over in the afternoon.
