TV Overnights: I’m a Celeb wins the top spot again

I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!

ITV1’s popular I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! secured the all-important peak audience during the prime time slot last night with a high of more than 9.1 million viewers.

The 90-minute programme, which saw Linford Cristie leave the jungle, attracted an average audience of more than eight million viewers and a 30% share between 8.30pm and 10pm.

Elsewhere, more than 4.5 million viewers tuned in for the penultimate Turn Back Time – The High Street between 9pm and 10pm, banking a 17.2% audience share for BBC One.

Channel 5’s long-running CSI: Miami came next in line with 1.8 million average viewers and a 7.1% share, although BBC Two’s The Foods That Make Billions was not far behind.  The second episode of the three part Money Programme series pulled in 1.4 million average viewers and a 5.6% share.

Meanwhile, Channel 4’s new fly-on-the-wall documentary series The Family struggled to keep up with an average audience of just 619,000 viewers and a 2.3% share.

Earlier on in the evening, BBC One’s Eastenders dominated the pre-watershed ratings, attracting a high of more than 9.8 million viewers and a 38.1% audience share between 7.30pm and 8pm.
