TV Overnights: I’m a Celebrity peaks with 8.1 million viewers

ITV1’s latest I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! series continued with 8.1 million peak viewers last night.

The reality show banked the highest ratings throughout the full 9pm to 10pm peak-hour with 7.8 million average viewers and a 30.8% audience share.

Elsewhere, BBC One’s new five-part drama Paradox, which stars Tamsin Outhwaite and Emun Elliott, attracted a high of 4.2 million viewers and a 16.3% audience share to claim second place in the peak-hour ratings war.

At the same time, Channel 4’s new Relocation, Relocation: It’s Never Too Late with Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer pulled in 2.3 million peak viewers and a 8.6% audience share.

Five’s CSI:Miami, meanwhile, fell into fourth place with 1.7 million average viewers and a 7% audience share.  BBC Two’s new documentary An Iranian ‘Martyr’ came a fair way behind that with 636,000 viewers and a 2.5% share.

Earlier on in the evening, BBC One secured a peak run with Eastenders‘ 8.4 million viewers and Holby City‘s 5.7 million viewers.
