TV Revenue – April
Agency estimates put the total terrestrial TV ad revenue figure for April at £234.830m, up 14.1%, reflecting a buoyant month for almost all of the terrestrial channels.
ITV’s total revenue went up 13.8% to £165.570m, C4’s increased 14.1% to £50.790m and C5’s rose an impressive 29.3% to £12.5m. GMTV slipped 2.5% to £5.970m.

Among the ITV franchises, Carlton’s share of ITV revenue dropped 0.8% points to 16.3% while LWT’s dropped 0.3% points to 11.4% (whilst having the same amount of trading days as last year). Most of the Northern regions did well, with Central, Granada/Border and YTTV all seeing increases in year on year revenue share.
