TV Revenue – April 1999
Total terrestrial revenue for April 1999 (including GMTV) according to agency estimates was £233.02 million. ITV’s total revenue dropped by 2.4% year on year, and Channel 4’s revenue remained fairly stable April 1999. Channel 5’s total revenue grew by 22.6% year on year.
GMTV suffered a 9.5% drop in revenue.
LWT increased its share of revenue the most year on year, growing by 0.8 points to a share of 12.2%. Carlton was the largest of all the franchises for April 1999 with a share of 16.7%.
