TV REVENUE FOR JULY

The combined ITV/C4 revenue figure for July has come in at £132.28m, a drop of £10.74m (-7.5%) on last month but only very slightly lower than the same period last year – £90,000 to be exact.

The ITV/C4 revenue split below, shows C4 failing for the first month since January to increase its share of revenue:

The actual individual figures for ITV and C4 were £106.28m and £26m respectively.

In terms of each contractor’s share of the ITV revenue the best year on year performance was put in by the combined YTTV region – up 0.46% point on last year at 12.14%. The poorest performance by nearly a whole percentage point was produced by Carlton down 1.3% point on July 1992, despite having one extra trading day.
