TV Revenue – March
Total terrestrial television was estimated to have brought in ad revenue of £198.61 million. Of this, ITV brought in £138.64m (down 6.4% year on year), C4 £43.9m (down 0.2%), C5 £10.57m and GMTV £5.5m (down 14.1%).
There was little change among the ITV franchise holders, with only LWT showing a substantial change in revenue share – it slipped 1.7% points to 11% though it did have one less trading day this year. Both Meridian and Anglia experienced slight falls in share while Yorkshire Tyne-Tees went up 0.8% points to 10.8% and Central rose 0.4% points to 6%.
