TV Revenue & Shares – May

The combined ITV/C4 revenue for May has been estimated at £183,115,536 – a 4.4% rise on the same period last year and follows the trend of month on month revenue increases apparent since the beginning of the year. Between January and May 95 revenue has shown a 20% increase – up over £30m.

ITV and C4’s individual revenue figures for May have come in at £144.86m (+2.2% year on year) and £38.25m (+13.6% year on year) respectively. From the beginning of the year C4 has done slightly better than ITV in terms of revenue – up 24.1%, compared to ITV’s 18.7%. GMTV’s May revenue is estimated at £6.6m – a slight (-2.2%) fall on the previous month.
