TV Viewing Summary – w/e 09/06/96

The new series of Wycliffe has returned to the top ten programmes. The episode shown on Sunday 9th June attracted an audience of 10.26 million and a consolidated share of the viewing audience of 46%. The detective show remains the only HTV produced programme to feature highly among weekly top thirty programme lists.

With the top programme of the week getting an audience of less than 15 million, it comes as no surprise that average weekly viewing for all people over the age of four has fallen by 7.54% in comparison to the same week last year. In Astra Panel homes viewing for all channels has also fallen, this time by 8.2% compared to the same week last year.
