TV3 – the terrestrial television network for Ireland which launched last September (see Newsline) – has announced that it is awarding an additional five year contract to Granada Mediasales.
Granada Mediasales sells television airtime and programme sponsorship on behalf of Granada and LWT as well as TV3, and the contract will run until 30th June 2004.
Mick Desmond, chief executive of Granada Mediasales, commented: “The new five year contract puts us in a better position to strengthen long-term relationships. We’ve enjoyed considerable success so far and look forward to a strong partnership with both TV3 and the advertisers that we can bring to the Irish marketplace.”
