Twivy Issues Writ Against Dorlands
According to this week’s Campaign Paul Twivy, former chief executive of Bates Dorland, is threatening to sue the agency over alleged breach of contract.
The wrangle concerns Twivy’s departure from the agency in September *Dorland Chief Exec Leaves. He is claiming wrongful dismissal, accusing Michael Bungey, Dorland’s chairman, of reneging on a promise to make him chairman. No one at the agency would comment on the matter.
…Pearson, the media and entertainment group, has appointed Marjorie Scardino as its chief executive. She was formerly chief executive of the Economist magazine group and replaces Frank Barlow who is retiring. The stock market did not react well to the news, with share price falling from 688p to 676.5p
