Two New Radio Stations For Merseyside
After considering the proposals submitted by the ten applicants, the Radio Authority has offered the two new small scale ILR licensees for Merseyside to Crash FM and Dune FM.
Crash FM will be offering an alternative rock and dance station for 15-34 year olds in Liverpool and some surrounding parts of Knowsley, Sefton and Wirral.
Dune FM will be offering a localised service, bringing into focus a variety of grass-roots news, information and issues within a relaxed, friendly and entertaining format of soft adult contemporary music. The service will be able to be received in Southport, Ormskirk and North Sefton metropolitan borough.
These licences will come into effect as soon as the successful applicants are ready to begin broadcasting.
