UK Advertising Is Expected To Avoid Recession, According To Zenith
The UK advertising industry is expected to avoid a recession, with adspend forecast to grow by 2.2% to £12.7 billion in 1999. This is one of the findings in the UK Media Yearbook published by advertising media services company, Zenith Media.
The Yearbook covers a number of industry topics, “from the big issues” to details of audience research, planning and buying. The research also found that advertisers pay an average of 0.7 pence for each adult who sees their ad on the television.
