UK Advertising Will Grow In November, says ABN AMRO
ABN AMRO reports that advertising growth rates in September and October of this year were the worst so far this year. In September, advertising fell by 13% compared to 2001 and October was even worse with revenues dropping 15% on last year.

As advertisers use up the last of their 2001 budgets a slight rise in November and December is forecast. ABN expects that heavy promotion by the ailing music industry in the run up to Christmas will boost Q4 totals.
These factors have led the broker to revise up UK ad revenue forecasts from -6.1% to -5.4%.
