UK: FSA could be postponed

There are reports that draft legislation to set up a new Food Standards Agency (FSA) with powers to enforce new safety measures and to prescribe appropriate dietary behaviour has been postponed. Many expect the bill to be dropped from the legislative agenda of the government, to be announced in the Queen’s Speech in November this year.
