United Artists Entertainment To Become Flextech
TV

United Artists Entertainment (Programming) Limited is to change its name to Flextech Television Ltd from Monday 1st July. The programme management side of Flextech plc, the UK cable and satellite group, believe the change allows the Flextech name to be strengthened.

Managing Director of Flextech Television, Brent Harman, said: “By adopting the name of its parent company, Flextech Television will capitalise on the growing strength of the Flextech name. At the same time it will eliminate the confusion that existed surrounding the ownership and activities of United Artists Programming.”

Flextech plc has interests in 15 channels which include Bravo, the Family Channel, TCC, EBN, Sega Channel, Discovery Channel Europe, TLC and Playboy TV. Broadcasters will continue to be provided with programming services such as market research, brand management, airtime sales, sponsorship, scheduling, distribution and transmission facilities.
