UNM Appoints Government Advisor As Director Of Strategy
United News & Media has announced the appointment of Bernard Gray to the newly-created position of director of group strategy. Gray, a former Government advisor to George Robinson, defence secretary, will be responsible for group strategy, corporate development and communications. He will report directly to UNM’s chief executive, Clive Hollick.
Commenting on the appointment, Hollick says: “United News & Media has moved rapidly in recent years. I have decided that the time is now right to strengthen the central management team by creating this new post to bring together several important group functions. Media, internet and business to business markets are all moving extremely rapidly, and I am determined that United will play a key role in these sectors.”
