![]()
Digital marketing company, ValueClick, has appointed Regan Murray as sales manager of its newly established email marketing division.
The newly created role will see Murray, formerly sales director of Echo Direct, assume responsibility for rolling out the new email marketing service to UK advertisers. She will also work with key publishers to market a database designed to help clients address their specific lead-generation needs across a range of target audiences.
Regan has over eight years experience in traditional and online media and was previously responsible for developing 24/7 Real Media’s email marketing business in the UK. In her most recent role at Echo Direct she built extensive knowledge on online direct marketing and media management.
Commenting on the appointment, Sarah Escott, ValueClick’s commercial director, said: “Regan is an excellent addition to establish and grow our e-mail marketing business. Her experience is perfectly suited for building solid publisher relationships and targeting new and existing advertisers with a more integrated solution.”
Regan added: “Stand-alone e-mail marketing products are no longer sufficient to meet the demands of clients. ValueClick offers advertisers the benefit of a more comprehensive solution which includes media, technology, list brokerage and data management options.”
ValueClick recently poached DoubleClick’s director of account management, Vanessa Kent, to take up the role of corporate development director. The newly created position will see Kent work to develop a new account management process for ValueClick’s technology and media divisions (see ValueClick Appoints New Corporate Development Head).
