ValueClick Restructures UK Media Division

Digital marketing company ValueClick is restructuring its UK media division to reflect its changing portfolio of media products.

The restructure will see the promotion of Jason Ricks, formerly director of digital direct marketing, to business development director. Ricks will be responsible for network development and will oversee the creation of a bespoke network of sites for higher spending advertisers.

Samantha Hart, formerly client services manager, has been promoted to client services director. Working with recently appointed European sales director, Sarah Escott, she will be responsible for leading development of third part publisher agreements in the UK market and will also oversee Value Click’s client relationship management programmes.

The company’s European marketing director, Carl White, said: “We are excited about the interest that is already being generated from advertisers for our recently extended range of media products. We will continue our growth by meeting advertisers’ needs across all pricing metrics and Jason and Sam will work closely to build the relevant publisher relationships.”

Last November ValueClick underlined its intention to become a major contender in the ad serving technology market by poaching business development manager, Alison Guise, from rival DoubleClick (see New Media Round-Up).
