Variations To Channel 3 Licences

The ITC has approved minor variations to the licences held by Central, Grampian, LWT and STV. The variations apply to the proportion of original productions/commissions required to be broadcast.

Most licensees originally indicated they would expect to achieve 65%, the required minimum. Central, Grampian, LWT and STV proposed higher figures, but did not achieve them. The ITC has agreed to revise all licensees requirements to 65%, thus standardising requirements across the network.
