VH-1 Expansion To Germany

VH-1, MTV’s sister channel is to be launched in Germany tomorrow, it has been announced. The channel will be available on the Astra satellite for 12 hours per day, and as a 24-hour service to cable networks throughout Germany from April. Bill Roedy, International President of MTV Networks said, “VH-1 has enjoyed phenomenal success in the UK since its launch last year and we are delighted to be entering the German marketplace with such an exciting product for the local audience.”
