Virgin Brings Music To Bus Stops

Virgin Brings Music To Bus Stops

Passengers waiting at selected bus stops around London will be able to listen to live ten minute broadcasts of Virgin 105.8 FM. Virgin Radio and the advertising company, More O’Ferrall Adshel, have joined together in a campaign to cover 250 bus shelters with Virgin Radio branding.

The shelters will be covered in a bright red, yellow and blue markings on the outside with Virgin posters on the inside. Sensors in the shelter will detect any waiting passengers.

Virgin believes the campaign, which runs for two weeks, is a major step in the radio war with Capital and the first site will be set up outside Capital’s headquarters in Euston.
