Viva Launches

Viva, the radio station which is backed by Golden Rose Communications, launched at 6:00 am this morning 3 July. The new radio station is aimed at women aged 24 to 44 in the Greater London area.

Lynne Franks, the chairwoman who also has her own programme, said “The station will be contemporary and controversial, and with attitude and we intend to have as much dialogue as possible with our listeners”.

Viva will primarily be presented by women but is also looking to pick up a significant following amongst London men. Lynne Franks, Linda Agran, Deborah Owen and Katy Turner are closely involved with the creation and management.
