Walt Disney has announced a joint venture with CLT Multi Media, a Luxembourg based international broadcastser. The two groups plan to launch a German satellite television channel in January. The deal could herald a number of Disney-backed channels in other European countries, including the UK. The new channel will include Disney animation, feature films and live action.
