The Warner Bros company is to invest £50m in new multiplex cinemas in and around London in addition to the existing Warner West End in Leicester Square.
The new cinemas will be scheduled to open between January and July 1996. New sites designated for development are Watford, Croydon, Harrow, Finchley, and Dagenham. Two additional London based cinemas are planned but the locations can not be confirmed yet.
Each of the new cinemas will have 9 individual screens and seating for approximately 2,500 people and is expected to cost upwards of £7 million.
