The Advertising Standards Authority launched a new site this week Website Of The Week: ASA. The site aims to apply the British Codes of Advertising and Sales Promotion in UK advertising, on the Net. Companies can have advice on their claims and consumers may voice their complaints. http://www.asa.org.uk

eTRUST, a group of Internet commerce pioneers, have launched an online transactional security and privacy project. With the intention of providing an improvement to online business and consumer usage, the group hope to create certified security and privacy ratings. This includes license symbols, monitoring how personal data is collected and generally reducing unauthorised access. http://www.etrust.org

The new Reed Elsevier home page provides information on the company. The pages include business descriptions, financial highlights, recent announcements and information for investors. http://www.reed-elsevier.com
